The peeled almond is, like all almonds, a natural anti-inflammatory , antioxidant and a precious dietary supplement as it is rich in nutritional principles.
These almonds are deprived of the cuticle that covers them thanks to a dedicated peeling process.
The Process of Peeling Almonds
Peeling is obtained through a system which consists of two phases:
- soaking the almonds in hot water at 90° for ten minutes;
- drying in an air oven at 80° for about thirty minutes.
Drying is a phase that serves to deprive the almond of the skin that covers it. Only after the skin is completely removed is the peeling finished.
